The 243HD keeps the original 243 knob and handle, with its longer taper and slightly thicker handle that gives the bat a firm, connected feel through the swing. The “HD” build uses a denser wood selection and a subtly reinforced barrel profile to add hardness and durability in the hitting zone—so you get the same smooth 243 swing, with a tougher barrel at contact.
